So, who am I?
I'm a pretty average British citizen; white, mixed heritage, degree holder, tax payer, part of the voting electorate, mother, and wife. I read and watch the same news as you, both biased and unbiased, corporate and independant. And I want a voice.
The point in this blog is not to be a news outlet. It won't be unbaised because it will include my opinions. However, I don't feel yelling at the evening news gets my thoughts out in the public realm, it doesn't allow for wider debate, and it doesn't provide any capacity for education. I'm hoping a blog will provide that, maybe I can explain my beliefs from my position and open a dialogue with those in opposing positions.
